He has been competing since 2012 and has racked up top finishing in all categories, spanning the country from Florida to Kansas City. In 2014, Chef Mike was nominated for the Kentucky Culinary Student of the year by the Kentucky Restaurant Association. He was awarded the JCTC (Jefferson Community and Technical College) Culinary Student of the Year where he graduated from culinary school.
